Epic Wine Dinner Featuring Château Palmer at Element 47 Restaurant in Aspen tomorrow night!
The 30th annual Aspen Food and Wine Classic has taken over Aspen, Colorado this week. Many superstar chefs, cult winemakers, and wine enthusiasts are helping to tantalize taste buds while aiding to expand the economy and as well as waste bands!
Element 47 Restaurant is part of the wine-famous Little Nell, Aspen’s only five Diamond, five-star hotel. Over the past two decades, this place has gained a reputation as being a breeding ground for future Master Sommelier’s. Carlton Mccoy, MS is the current Wine Director.
Château Palmer is a third growth from the prestigious Margaux region.
Attendees will savor rare vintages representing five decades of Château Palmer. Jean-Louis Carbonnier, Director of the Americas for Château Palmer, will speak throughout the evening. In the Margaux appellation, only one wine, Château Palmer, has ever challenged the preeminence of Château Margaux. Although ranked as a third growth, Château Palmer has in some vintages surpassed Château Margaux and, in every wine, provided a fascinating comparison with its eminent rival.
Cost: $950 per person, plus gratuity and tax
