Mr. Wheatly is at the helm of the distillery that is crafting some of America’s most highly awarded and hard-to-obtain Bourbons. This event will include rare tastings of W.L. Weller 12-year-old, Eagle Rare 10, and its newly released, big brother, Eagle Rare 12, George T. Stagg 2025 Release- A beast of a Bourbon, aged for 15 years and 4 months, the strongest ever at 71.4%! And not to be missed, the iconic, voted most likely to be stolen, Pappy Van Winkle.

It is a rare occasion when the leaders at Buffalo Trace uncuff Mr. Wheately from the stills long enough to escape to the picturesque and mountain-filled city of Colorado Springs.

Taking place at the Aviator Roof Top bar, the event will feature interactive chef stations expertly paired with Buffalo Trace’s award-winning spirits. Each pour is thoughtfully paired with a chef-curated menu, specially designed to complement and enhance the unique flavor profiles of these exceptional bourbons.

Many of these Bourbons are almost impossible to obtain. If you are lucky enough to find them, you pay insane markups exceeding ten times the suggested retail price. This selection would cost more than $3,000 if you were to purchase the bottles. The cost of admission is a bargain at $199.
