Saint-Germain-des-Prés has a vibrant, cosmopolitan feel with its mix of luxury boutiques and student hangouts. The vibe is effortlessly chic and intellectual. On June 23, 2023, Moët Hennessy announced the opening of CRAVAN, a unique venue celebrating French art de vivre, exceptional cocktails, and culture in the heart of the iconic and literary Parisian district
Cravan is dedicated to Arthur Cravan, born in Switzerland in 1887 as Fabian Ameerali Omer (a/k/a Fabian Avenarius Lloyd), a fascinating figure known for poetry, boxing, and avant-garde circles. Cravan vanished in 1918 during
World War I, never to be found.
Notably, Arthur Cravan was the nephew of Oscar Wilde!
This book is packed with artful imagery, color cast, and vintage photos. It depicts the bar’s stylish interior, with bookshelves lined with antiquarian and vintage books, including autobiographies of cultural figures such as filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock.
